As Seed Exchange Manager I keep a photographic (macro) record of Meconopsis seed with a scale beside the seed.  Seeds do vary in size and shape, which probably reflects the seed packing within the capsule, and this helps to pick out mis-identified seed and immature seed which will not germinate.

The image shows two donations of Meconopsis 'Lingholm'.  The seed on the left is correct, while the seed on the right was not distributed through the seed exchange.

If anyone wants further information, just contact me
