Twisted style
« on: 08 August, 2019, 09:14:51 »
I collected 2 seed pods from a Purple Form of the Fertile Blue Group  yesterday.

Both styles are twisted - like barley sugar. I cannot find any photos with similar styles in the Meconopsis books, has anyone come across this before?

They are on 5mm graph paper, the lower one had no seeds inside.

Since posting this I have come across two instances of  twisted style in the Mecs for Gardeners book, p.88- M. Great Glen & p.203 - M. Mop-head, both having blue flowers. Both descriptions describe a twisted style.
The plant was grown from group seed in 2016, does anyone know the history of this seed?
